Censored Magazines
One of my ever lasting questions:
Is there any way of getting magazines safely through Kuwait’s Customs?

Love And The Law Of Attraction
"Your so-called religious saints have been teaching you never to love yourself, never to be good to yourself. Be hard on yourself! They have been teaching you be soft towards others and hard towards yourself. This is absurd."

Pray for FourMe
A Kuwaiti blogger FourMe is suffering from Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a form of cancer.
A community of bloggers have put effort to create a website for her.
http://www.pray44me.com
It would be a great gesture if you can post about her website where people post prayers and give support to her.
We have no idea who's prayers are going to be answered. Please spread to the word, help FourMe fight cancer.

Why Crying is Good for You
The Benefits of Tears (Link)
Most people feel better after a good cry. (At least most women do.) After shedding tears, there is generally a feeling of relief and renewed strength to face difficult situations. But new evidence suggests that there may be more to crying than just expressing feelings. Scientific research has found that tears produced by emotional crying, may be one of the ways that the body disposes of toxic substances. (Read more)

Kuwaitize Saud Port and Saudize Al Khafji Port
Read this article. Its in Arabic, though it is talking about some mutual trades in lands between Kuwait and Saudi when those lands belong to Kuwaiti!!!!!
It goes...
The possibility of Saudi Arabia giving “the Port of King Saud” to the Kuwaitis for that the geographical distance of the port is within Kuwaiti borders (considering the sovereign depth that Kuwait falls within), while Kuwait will give “Al-Khafji” port to the Saudis, which is an oil rich port! The discussions will raise to borderline that litigant area.
The “Port of King Saud” is notorious for raising question marks between the two countries (Kuwait and Saudi) especially that it was taking this classical move since 30+ years.
After liberating Garooh Island of Kuwait in 1991, the Saudi Arabian Navy raised their Saudi flag on the island (the first Kuwaiti land to be liberated), and this issue went into some political and disputable issues and that file was shut quietly to keep a good relation between the two countries.
The question is.. How much longer do we have to keep quiet and shut such issues quietly before our flag is replaced???

Web networkers 'at risk of fraud'
I have recieved an interesting email earlier today from a friend of mine that could be of benefit to all of us :-)
Here you go....
-Ansam
*************
People who use internet networking sites are being warned that they could be at risk of identity theft.
Credit information group Equifax said members of sites such as MySpace, Bebo and Facebook may be putting too many details about themselves online.
It said fraudsters could use these details to steal someone's identity and apply for credit and benefits.
About 80,000 people in the UK were victims of identity theft last year, at a cost to the economy of £1.5bn.

Karma Rocks
"My Name is Earl"
Do you watch that show? I like it a lot.. it makes me laugh, I think its hilarious, plus I think Karma rocks! I love Karma, don't you? I found out that not so many people I know like this show... or at least not as much as I do! Interesting!!
Well... Karma is an action or deed understood as denoting the "cause & effect" cycle described in many philosophies such as in Hinduism and Buddhism. The effects of all those deeds are cumulative. It actively create past, present, and future experiences that consequently makes us responsible for our own life and the pain and/or joy it brings.
It is believed that the fruit of your actions are called Larma-phala, and that all living creatures are responsible for their actions and effects of those actions.
It is believed that the fruit of your actions are called Larma-phala, and that all living creatures are responsible for their actions and effects of those actions.
According to Earl, the main character in the show I love, Karma is about learning, changing, and understanding... becoming a better person and trying to make up for your past mistakes. Earl started it when he got a hold of the idea of Karma. To him, Karma is like a teacher that gives us painful lessons to help us grow better... Basically it is showing us that what comes around goes around.
So the show starts with Earl winning this lottery ticket for $100,000 and short after he lose it when he is hit by a car. While watching TV in the hospital he hears about Karma on the show "Last Call with Carson Daly". Now who could be dense enough to think that Karma is the brainchild of "Last Call with Carson Daly?" LOL. I love Earl! OK so then he make this list of of all the bad deeds hes done, and after few good deeds his $100,00 lottery ticket comes back to him! He then decides to use that money to cross out some of the bad deeds in that list.
Over all the show is super duper hilarious! Not really portraying Karma, but its a good laugh!

"this is your complimentary Little Treats from the owner!"
Nofers... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! You are the best ;-) You made my day.
If I dont eat all of them by the time I go home, I will take a picture and post it here (which I doubt LOL).. It is similar to the one I uploaded (above) from....
