my first post :)

How do you act or feel when a guy propose then you decline and he propose again after weeks!!!?

I mean would you decline coz the same reasons why you rejected first time are still there?
or would you change your mind coz you feel that he wants you and no one but you? especially that rarely happens in Kuwait because of what they say (ille ma yabeena ma nabee)! usually when a guy is declined he doesnt think of proposing to the same girl again or even his mom wont let him :p

any comments? any experiences?

This happened to me actually. I declined very nicely the first time when the guy's relative inquired. Another relative closer to my age was subsequently sent, because *supposedly* he was so in love. I declined nicely again, but was more specific this time as to why I was declining although I was very careful to say that I was honored and flattered, and that any woman would be lucky to have him. And really, he was an excellent guy, just not for me, it would never have worked since we were so different.

So much for all the *in love* stuff! He got married 3 months later and lived happily ever after! Harumph! ;) But he found the perfect woman for him, so I am very glad. I see them by chance occasionally and exchange warm hello's with them :)

Ra-1 fisrt of all congrats on your first post :)

and to answer your question I would have to know the situation, but in general I would have to say NO for many reasons:

1. Simpathy is not a reason to get married.

2. No means NO!

3. Pride is not in his book?

4. "or would you change your mind coz you feel that he wants you and no one but you? especially that rarely happens in Kuwait because of what they say (ille ma yabeena ma nabee)!" <--- RARELY happens in kuwait???????????????

honey, let me tell you in kuwait it's "elli ma yabeena NABEEH ghassib 6eeb enyeeba" LOL usually they take it as a challenge.. and

to make things clear it is said:
" elli yabeena 3ayat il nafs tabgheeh welli nabeeh 3aya il bakhat la yejeeba"

which means you always want what you can't get ;)

Ra-1; Siso (My sis) declined the same guy two times and she didn't feel guilty ...

Girl if he is not the one for you ... do not accept ... sorry to tell that but love never comes first ... it is the other things ... Ok he likes you and all of that ... still you don't think he will not be a good husband and father ...

You are smart, pretty and really good ... no you are great... many people will be proposing (well many are :P) ... so don't rush on that because he wants you ...

Ra-1 it's good to see you posting here :D Hope you feel better already.

about your question, the reasons for rejecting him for the first time will remain valid even if he proposes a hundred times. and i don't think him proposing for a second time means he's mad about the girl, he would have his reasons for choosing her in particular; things that he didn't find in others.
so the girl shouldn't settle for that, cos just like he finds her so perfect that he proposed twice, she has the right to find him perfect at the same time to say yes. but she isn't and that's why she rejected him in the first place.
a girl shouldn't settle for less just because he proposed twice.

hey RA1
well i think if a girl reject some one he must move on with his live why come back is she the last one in this world come on !!!!

the only thing that MAY let some one come back that if he and she is in love and the problem is with there family even so i think if her family dosent want you you dont want them 2

poor thing, I don’t like when a man doesn’t take no for an answer :s it becomes a dignity issue then, I would definitely refuse and explain my point which he’ll have to show respect to, ya3ni that itself is not a good start! he wants what he wants not caring so much for what I want?! I’d feel bad but I wouldn’t wanna waste my life away down the toilettes just to make someone happy! My happiness comes first and if this guy cares so much about me he’d let me go to my destiny, you have every reason to say No, marriage is no joke, always trust the choice you've made.

This issue is like a double-edged sword. The second time a huy proposes should be analyzed with care becuase it could mean two things. One, is that the guy is "obsessed" and cannot accept the fact that he could be turned down, especially if he thinks he is a big shot, then it is a MAJOR ego problem that will not change a bit in him (although he might claim that he will). Second, the person is very sincere and is willing to change everything about him on the surface and the inside, and the fact that he is proposing again proves that he has the willpower and commitment to do so, and infact might be the BEST opportunity. Whether that person falls in the first category or the second will be easily known once the clues left by him are properly analyzed.

Ra-1: Nope. but listen, after reading your comments above and realizing you're really under this situation it's true that we were all against the fact that him coming back again must mean something good. but i'd also like to note that only you and people around you who know both you and him and the reasons for rejecting him in the first place are the ones to judge best. you mentioned that the thing he has can't be changed. if it's so important to you then don't feel any regret or don't even fancy him being great with you in marriage. because you refused him for something that cannot change. my advice for you is to ONLY have second thoughts IF the reason you refused him for in the first place isn't that important to you, or can be ignored.

ra-1 :) ok.. i know this girl who had a guy propose to her over and over and over and over... until she finally agreed..and regrets it from 2nd day onword til today (2 years).. but thats one experience i can share with u..

some one has proposed to me twice, but then the reason of rejection held in both times... and dare i say it will never ever go away.
